Dhoomakethu Movie (2026)

Dhoomakethu is a Malayalam sci-fi comedy thriller that follows Kuttan, a 35-year-old man finally set to marry Sharmila, the woman of his dreams. Nervous about being judged as an unlikely match for his beautiful bride, he looks forward to putting years of disappointment behind him. However, on his wedding night, a group of masked men attacks, kills him, and abducts Sharmila. To his shock, Kuttan wakes up the next morning only to discover that it is his wedding day all over again.

As a mysterious comet passes over Kerala for the first time in thousands of years, Kuttan becomes trapped in a bizarre time loop, reliving the same day and the same deadly fate repeatedly. With each cycle, he uncovers new clues, hidden secrets, and unexpected connections behind the attack, forcing him to piece together the truth before the night resets once more. Balancing humor, suspense, and rural charm, the film turns a dream wedding into a race against time to break the loop and save both himself and his bride.
