Dhadak 2 is a Hindi romantic drama film directed by Shazia Iqbal. The film is a spiritual sequel to the 2018 movie "Dhadak" and a remake of the Tamil film "Pariyerum Perumal" (2018). The story follows Nilesh (played by Siddhant Chaturvedi) and Vidhi (played by Triptii Dimri), who fall in love despite the barriers of class and status entrenched in societal norms. The film explores their tragic love story, highlighting their challenges in a society that resists their relationship. "Dhadak 2" was released in theaters on August 1, 2025.
