2. The names of 'Nitin Bankar' and 'Ram Mishra', the characters played by Akshay Kumar and Sunil Shetty respectively, are taken from their respective long-lasting spot boys. Akshay's spot boy is Nitin Bankar, while Sunil's spot boy is Ram Mishra.
3. The climax was shot in a studio in Mumbai which recreated the Pan Pacific Hotel from Singapore and the flood scene was shot in 15 days.
4. First half of the film shares a similar plot with the Hollywood film Screwed (2000).
5. Katrina Kaif replaced Asin in the film.
6. The song Gale Lag Jaa was added 2 weeks after its release.
7. Somewhat Based On Priyadarshan's Movie Vettam.
8. Katrina's voice was dubbed by Mona Ghosh Shetty though the film was in sync with the sound.
9. Jhonny Lever and Priyadarshan worked together for the first time.

11. Paisa Paisa's song was sung by Manak-E a Punjabi singer. He had sung this song a few years back in his Punjabi album. On request of Akshay Kumar, the song was re-composed and re-released with a mix Hindi-Punjabi lyrics by RDB. The decision was made to use Paisa Paisa as the film's theme song due to it being light and up-tempo. It was also sampled in the song "Mitran De Haath Farkay" from the Album D-Unit /Asian Flava Volume 2. The singer is D.S.I. Music by J Nas (DJ Sanj). The original inspiration of the song was from the Pakistani film Haibat Khan. The song was titled "I Love You Love Keh Gayi Re".
12. Films music is done by Pritam but Paisa Paisa's song was done by the RDB band.
13. In 2009 there was a water crisis in Mumbai. The makers of the film were questioned for shooting a flooded scene in the city when there is a problem of the water crisis.
14. After The Release Of The Movie, Critics Blamed Priyadarshan for copying and borrowing plots from English Movies like (Screwed And Blame It On The Bellboy) Priyadarshan defended himself saying "Whatever I've Learnt From Cinema Is By watching movies and reading novels, I've never attended film school, so my only duty is to provide entertainment and I guess I've fulfilled it through De Dana Dan "
15. The film was originally titled " Aisa Ko Taisa".
