Recognizing that his son is frightened of being labeled a "failure," Anni, who comes across images of his college days, begins to recount stories from his college days in a bid to rekindle hope in Raghav, that his father, too, was once a "loser."
All the old college mates gather and narrate to Raghav how they failed badly at important events at college but their belief in their efforts is what mattered more.
Dr. Kasbekar notifies him that Raghav has had serious convulsions and that an immediate operation is required. Anni requests 10 minutes to finish the story.
Back in the present, Raghav is taken aback by this moment of loss and asks Anni if he ever considered suicide after losing such a close battle. Anni, Derek, Mummy, Acid, Sexa, Bewda, and Maya each respond with a "NO,"
Anni persuades Raghav to put on a brave front and face all of life's obstacles, including the operation, and as he is led to the operating room.

1. Tahir Raj Basin, a non-smoker, had to play a smoker in the film. The production used cigarettes with basil leaves and green tea to solve this problem.
2. Tahir Raj Bhasin's character was written as a star athlete. Accordingly, he had to train in various sports such as football, volleyball, and kabaddi for about 4-5 hours a day with national coaches. He also underwent a month-long training in building up his physical prowess although his biggest challenge was to compete with national runners.

4. The film's college section is reportedly inspired by Hostel 3's and Hostel 4's real-life rivalry for the GC in IIT Bombay. Nitesh Tiwari was himself a resident of H4 during the 90s and this storyline was loosely based on his time spent in the institute.
