Vivo has just launched the X300 Ultra in India, and it clearly aims to shake up the ultra-premium smartphone segment. With high-end specs and a strong focus on cameras, the new Vivo flagship is going head-to-head with some of the biggest names in the market. In its price range, the X300 Ultra competes directly with devices like the iPhone 17 Pro Max, Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, and Pixel 10 Pro XL. But how does it actually compare to Samsung’s latest Ultra phone? Here’s a quick look at how the Vivo X300 Ultra and Galaxy S26 Ultra stack up in terms of display, performance, camera, battery and price.
The Vivo X300 Ultra sports a 6.82-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Also, the display comes with HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra features a 6.9-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support.
Both the Vivo X300 Ultra and the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip. Speaking of the battery, the Vivo X300 Ultra is backed by a 6,600mAh battery with 100W wired charging and 40W wireless charging support. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S26 Ultra packs a 5,000mAh battery with 60W wired charging and 25W wireless charging support.

For photography, the Vivo X300 Ultra houses a triple camera on the back, consisting of a 200MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP wide angle lens and a 200MP telephoto lens. For selfies and video calls, there is a 50MP camera on the front.
On the other hand, the Galaxy S26 Ultra sports a quad rear camera setup, which includes a 200MP main camera, a 10MP telephoto lens, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens and a 50MP ultrawide lens. On the front, there is a 12MP camera for selfies and video calls.

The Vivo X300 Ultra is priced at Rs 1,59,999 in India. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra was launched for Rs 1,39,999.
