Vivo is gearing up to expand its T series lineup in India with the much-anticipated Vivo T5. The company has now confirmed that the smartphone will launch in the country on September 2 at 12 PM. While the official price and specs still remain under wraps, the leaks and rumours have painted a clear picture of how much it may cost and what the users can expect. The smartphone is said to come with a 6.75-inch display paired with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset and a massive 7,500mAh battery. Here’s everything we know about the upcoming smartphone, including its expected specifications, cameras, software and pricing.

Vivo T5: Launch date (Confirmed)

Flipkart has recently uploaded a microsite confirming that the Vivo T5 will be landing in the Indian market on September 2 at 12 PM. Not only that, but the microsite also confirmed that the device will be available in two colour options, notably the Royal Bronze and Silver Green.

Vivo T5: India price (Expected)

While the company has been tight-lipped about the price of the device, leaks and rumours suggest that the device will cost between Rs 34,999 and Rs 49,999. These are not official prices and can change at the time of launch depending on bank and card offers.

Vivo T5: Specs (Expected)

The Vivo T5 is expected to land with a 6.75-inch LCD panel paired with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. Under the direct sunlight the panel can reach a peak brightness of 1,250 nits. The handset is rummoured to boast Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor under the hood along with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage options.  

Not only that, but to keep the device running, the device is anticipated to come packed with a massive 7,500mAh battery. It’s also said that it will support 100W fast charging. The device is tipped to run on OriginOS 6, a skin based on Android 16 out of the box.

In terms of optics, the device may come equipped with a triple rear camera setup. It may include a 50MP main camera, a 13MP ultrawide sensor and an 8MP periscope telephoto lens. For selfies and video calls the device may also sport a 32 MP sensor at the front.
