A leaked image has appeared online which shows Samsung testing out the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS for its Galaxy SIII smartphone.

The leaked image, clearly shows the handset running on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean firmware, the latest OS that will feature in Samsung’s latest flagship – the Galaxy S4 . The firmware will officially be rolling out very soon.

According to reports, the alleged leak apparently comes from the Indian unit of Samsung R&D. They also mentioned that the Korean giants are also working on an Android 4.3 build for the Galaxy SIII and the Galaxy Note II.

The report also mentions that Samsung India, is also working on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean updates for the Galaxy SIII, which presumably, Samsung might do away with, as Google is expected to release Android 4.3 very soon.

As of now, there is no official confirmation to verify this information, however, we do expect that Samsung will bring software updates for the Galaxy SIII.
