Screenshots of the Samsung Galaxy S4 running on the Android 4.4 KitKat update have emerged, along with AnTuTu benchmark results that show the score with the new update.

Screenshots of the Galaxy S4 running the Android 4.4 KitKat update have leaked, revealing a flatter TouchWiz design.

Some carriers had already declared Samsung’s update plans, and judging from the leaked images, the rollout could be nearing release. As you can see, the notification bar has white icons instead of the coloured icons that Samsung usually has.

The Korean manufacturer completely revamped its interface for the new PRO line of tablets announced this week, dubbed as the ‘Magazine UX’, and we might see the same with the upcoming Galaxy S5 and other phones this year. We can expect this overhauled UI to come with the KitKat update of the Galaxy S4. A screen shot of AnTuTu benchmark results has also appeared showing the score achieved with the new update.
