Updated on 21-May-2012

Samsung has opened Galaxy S III pre-booking, on the company’s official India online store. Customers will be able to book the device for Rs. 2,000, and pay the remainder at launch.

You can check out the Galaxy S III listing here. For now, Samsung has not given an indication of pricing in India, however, to sweeten the deal, it offers a free Bluetooth headset for pre-booking customers. Earlier reports held that the device will be priced at roughly Rs. 38,000.

Users can also choose to be notified about availability, apart from pre-booking the device – no tentative dates have been provided. However, Stuff India has reportedly got an invite for the India launch event, which it notes as May 31.

The Galaxy S III so far looks like it will be one of the best Android smartphones in the market when it launches, with early benchmarks showing quite some promise, apart from the phone’s top-of-the-line specifications, and interesting smart-feature set, making it seem like a great deal.
