After the Redmi Note 17 launch, Xiaomi is said to introduce the Redmi Note 17 Pro in the Indian market. While the brand has not confirmed any details at the moment, the leaks have already started to surface online. As per the most recent leaks, the device will feature a massive silicon-carbon battery, a bigger AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 6 series processor and more. Based on the leaks, here is everything that we know about the device.
If the reports are believed to be true, the Redmi Note 17 Pro may offer a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device may offer up to 3,500 nits peak brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. Under the hood, the device may get Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset and up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM along with up to 256GB storage. The device may pack a 9,000mAh silicon-carbon battery and support 67W fast charging.
For cameras, the phone may get a 50MP primary rear sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and PDAF, paired with a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, you may get an 8MP selfie camera. The Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G may run on Android 16 with HyperOS 3 and include an in-display fingerprint sensor, dual 5G standby and dual Nano-SIM support.
According to reports, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 17 Pro will launch in India on September 18 or September 20, 2026. In terms of price, the device may cost users around Rs 40,000.
