Oppo is all set to refresh its affordable smartphone lineup in India with the upcoming Oppo K14 Lite. The K14 series currently includes two models, notably the standard Oppo K14 5G and the Oppo K14x 5G. While the company has yet to reveal the complete specifications of the upcoming device, it has confirmed the smartphone’s launch date along with details about its battery and a few other key specifications. Meanwhile, leaks and rumours have already offered a clearer picture of what buyers can expect from the device. Flipkart has recently uploaded a dedicated microsite confirming that the Oppo K14 Lite will be landing in the Indian market on September 16. The device is expected to be available for purchase starting the launch date on Oppo’s official website, Flipkart and other retail stores.

The leaks and rumours suggest that the Oppo K14 Lite could be priced under Rs 20,000, making it a good option for the budget buyers. However, do note that the prices are not official and may change at the time of launch.
The micosite confirms that the Oppo K14 Lite will come packed with a massive 7,000 mAh battery. However, it’s also expected to be clubbed with 15W fast charging and reverse-wired charging support.
Other than that, it’s also anticipated to feature a 6.75-inch LCD screen with a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate. The device might draw its power from Unisoc’s T7250 octa-core processor. Along with that, it’s also said to come with 4 GB of RAM and up to 64 GB of internal storage.

Out of the box the Oppo K14 Lite is tipped to run on ColorOS 16, a skin built on Android 16. It’s also said to get the IP64 rating to ensure the device is protected against water and dust.
In terms of optics, the handset can be seen boasting a dual camera setup at the rear side in the teaser. While the company has not officially confirmed the specs, the camera leaks and rumours suggest it may boast a 13 MP main camera along with an auxiliary depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, the device is said to come with an 8 MP lens at the front.
