Motorola Moto E6s to launch in India today: Expected specs, price and more

Motorola is all set to launch the Moto E6s in India today. The event will take place in New Delhi at 12 pm. The smartphone was unveiled earlier this month at IFA 2019. The company has teased the launch of the Moto E6s on Flipkart as well. The budget smartphone features a dual rear camera setup, 4GB RAM and more. It is expected to go on sale through Flipkart soon. Motorola sent out press invites for the launch of the Moto E6s last week. The smartphone is essentially the Moto E6 Plus. However, the company is rebranding it as Moto E6s in India. The Motorola Moto E6s price is still a mystery. However, it is expected to launch under Rs 10,000. 

The Motorola Moto E6 Plus (Moto E6s) features a 6.1-inch HD+ (720×1560 pixels) LCD display. It is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 chipset. The smartphone has 4GB RAM and 64GB of onboard storage, which can be expanded up to 512GB via microSD card. It runs Android 9 Pie.

On the optics front, the smartphone sports a dual rear camera setup:  a 13MP primary sensor with an f/2.0 lens + a 2MP depth sensor. It also has an 8MP selfie shooter that has an f/2.0 lens. It packs a 3000mAh battery.

Motorola could also announce the Motorola Smart TV, which could be based on the Android platform. Rumours suggest that Motorola has also included a built-in 30W soundbar with the TV. It is also said to be made by Flipkart. The TV is expected to sport thin bezels and will make use of MEMC technology to ensure smoother visuals. It is tipped to compete with the cheaper Xiaomi Mi TV 4 models in India.
