Motorola is reportedly gearing up to expand its Edge 70 series in India and global markets with the upcoming Motorola Edge 70 Neo. The smartphone will be joining the Edge 70 lineup, including the standard Motorola Edge 70, Edge 70 Max, Edge 70 Fusion, and Edge 70 Pro. While the company has yet to officially confirm any details about the smartphone, a tipster has recently shared the details regarding the upcoming device, suggesting that it could feature a 6.78-inch display, a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, and a triple rear camera setup. According to tipster Sanju Chaudhary, the upcoming Motorola Edge 70 Neo will launch with a 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED display that will be clubbed with up to 144 Hz of refresh rate. The device may also have IP64 certifications, ensuring that the upcoming device is protected against dust and water.

The handset is further tipped to get a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset under the hood. Leaks point to the fact that the device may also get up to 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. Out of the box the device is said to run on Android 16. The device is also tipped to get 4 years of Android upgrades and 5 years of security patches.
In terms of power, the Motorola Edge 70 Neo is rumoured to come packed with a 7000mAh battery with 45W charging support. For the photography enthusiasts, the device may come equipped with a 50MP Sony LYTIA 710 primary lens along with a 2MP macro camera and a 3-in-1 light sensor at the rear end. It may also get a 32MP front camera that would come in handy for selfies and video calls.
Not only that, but the smartphone is also tipped to launch in four Pantone colours, notably the Mountain View, Milky Blue, Sage and Grey Lilac.

Motorola is yet to announce a launch date for its upcoming Motorola Edge 70 Neo, but if the leaks and rumours are to be trusted, then the upcoming device could land in the Indian market in early November 2026.
