Moto G5 and G5 Plus are expected to be made official at MWC later this month. Moto G5 has cleared the US FCC and Moto G5 Plus has been leaked in live images in the past. Now a new tip suggests the devices will go on sale right after their MWC launch.

The details about the availability comes from Twitter user Roland Quandt. The tweet hints at the device arriving in gold and grey colour variants. The image tweeted by Roland Quandt also confirms the Moto G5 will start with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage.

Moto G5 and G5 Plus are expected to ditch the plastic design in favour of metal unibody enclosure. The smartphones are expected to adopt the camera bump similar to that of Moto Z lineup.

Moto G5 specifications were recently revealed via Brazilian certification site. The handset features a 5-inch 1080p display and is likely to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor. The device will come with 2GB RAM, 16GB storage and 3000mAh battery. On the other hand, Moto G5 Plus is rumoured to get 4GB RAM and Snapdragon 625 processor.
