iQOO is preparing to refresh its flagship lineup in the Indian market. Although the company is yet to share details regarding the upcoming device, leaks and rumours have painted a clear picture of the upcoming iQOO 16. If the leaks and the rumours are to be trusted, then the upcoming smartphone could feature an AMOLED display, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset, and a triple rear camera setup. According to tipster Debayan Roy, the upcoming iQOO 16 may feature a 6.85-inch flat AMOLED display with 2K resolution. The screen is expected to support an adaptive refresh rate of up to 165Hz, although some reports suggest it could go as high as 185Hz. The phone is also rumoured to come with ultra-thin symmetrical bezels.
The device is anticipated to run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro processor. Moreover, it may come packed with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 internal storage.

Leaks also claim that the iQOO 16 may come packed with an 8,500mAh battery and may support 100W wired charging. It’s also rumoured that the device may support wireless charging capabilities.
On the software side, the phone may run OriginOS 7 based on Android 17. It is also rumoured to feature IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance, along with a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner.
For cameras, leaks suggest the smartphone could include a 50MP main camera, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultra-wide sensor. On the front, it may feature a 32MP selfie camera.

While the company is yet to share official details regarding the iQOO 16, the early reports point out that the handset could launch in the Indian market between mid-November and December 2026.
Furthermore, the industry watchers believe that it could make its debut with a price tag of around Rs 74,990. However, it could change at the time of launch depending on the bank and card offers provided.
