Huawei Ascend G510 and Y300 Jelly Bean dual-core phones up for pre-order

Flipkart has starting taking pre-orders for the two new Huawei smartphones called the Ascend G510 and Y300.

Huawei has introduced two new smartphones called the Ascend G510 and Ascend Y300. Both the smartphones run on the latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS and are powered by dual-core processors. The Huawei Ascend G510 is up for pre-order at Rs. 10,990 while the Ascend Y300 is priced at Rs. 7,980. The phones are expected to go on sale later this week.

Huawei Ascend G510

The Huawei Ascend G510 has a 4.5-inch display with 480×854 pixels resolution. It has a 5MP primary camera, and a 0.3MP secondary camera. The smartphone has 512MB of RAM and 4GB of ROM. The Ascend G510 is powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm ARM Cortex-A5 dual-core processor.

The built-in storage of the device is 1GB. There’s a microSD slot that supports storage up to 32GB. For connectivity, the smartphone supports Bluetooth, GPRS, EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi and microUSB. The smartphone comes with 1700 mAh battery, which is rated to deliver 5 hours of talktime on 3G mode.

Huawei Ascend Y300

The Huawei Ascend Y300 is believed to a cheaper version of the G510, as it comes with similar set of specifications.

The Ascend Y300 features a 4-inch display with 480×800 pixels resolution. It has a 5MP primary camera and 0.3 MP secondary camera. The smartphone is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm ARM Cortex-A5 dual-core processor. The Ascend Y300 comes with 1GB built-in storage and has 512MB of RAM. For additional storage, there’s microSD slot that supports up to 32GB.

For connectivity, the Ascend Y300 supports Bluetooth, GPRS, EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi and microUSB. The smartphone comes with 1730 mAh battery, which is rated to deliver 5 hours of talktime on 3G mode.
