Indian telecom operator Jio has rolled out a range of offers and benefits for its users as part of its 10th anniversary celebrations. Soon after introducing free Canva Pro recharge plans, the company is now offering a free Amazon Prime Lite subscription for JioHome users on its select plans. Jio’s postpaid fiber service is a direct competitor to Airtel’s Xstream entertainment service, which bundles Wi-Fi, entertainment and other benefits.
According to Jio’s official website, the benefits can be availed on select 30 Mbps and 100 Mpbs plans, such as the Rs 2,664 plan (exclusive of GST) and Rs 4,444 plan, among other higher speed plans. Here are the details of these plans.
The Rs 888 (+ GST) plan includes unlimited data, free voice, 7 days extra benefit and 1,000+ TV channels. Apart from Amazon Prime Lite, the recharge also bundles Netflix (Basic), YouTube Premium, JioHotstar, Sony LIV, Zee5, and more OTT services.
Though the “Notes” of the recharge state that the bundled Prime Lite subscription is valid for 2 years, the terms and conditions say the benefit is applicable for 12 months.
The Rs 1,199 (+GST) plan offers up to 100 Mbps, unlimited data, free voice, 7 days extra and 1,000+ TV channels.
Jio has also listed a Rs 4,444 plan with similar benefits under its “Best Offers” category. The plan bundles 200 GB extra data for 90 days, worth Rs 199. Besides these, here are other plans that bundle Amazon Prime Lite 12 months subscription.
