Celkon launches quad-core A119Q Signature HD phablet at Rs. 12,499

Celkon A119Q Signature HD with 5-inch HD display, quad-core processor, Android 4.2 has been launched.

Celkon Mobiles, a Hyderabad-based mobile manufacturer, has launched the A119Q Signature HD, the successor to A119 Signature HD launched in the month of March. It joins the list of numerous budget quad-core smartphones in India.

The phone comes with a 5-inch (1,280×720 pixels) touchscreen display, powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589 processor and PowerVR SGX 544MP2 GPU that is coupled with 1GB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) for faster performance and browsing speed.

It offers huge storage space with 4GB of built-in storage expandable up to 32 GB via a microSD Card. It has an impressive dual camera, 12MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash, and a 3MP front-facing camera.

The A119Q supports 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity. It comes loaded with GPS and A-GPS for easy navigation and has Bluetooth 4.0 installed. It weighs in at 177 grams, and is relatively slim at 9.3mm. It is a dual-SIM phone that allows you the option to choose between two different service providers with enhanced connectivity. It has a 3.5mm jack, FM radio connectivity and is packed with a powerful 2,100mAh battery to offer up to 5-6 hours of talk time and 140 hours of standby time. The phone is priced at Rs. 12,499 and comes with a free flip cover worth Rs. 1,500.

The Celkon A119Q Signature HD is a worthy competitor to the MicromaxA116 Canvas HD and the Karbonn Titanium S5.
