Samsung recently launched its latest generation of foldables. The company launched three foldables this year instead of two, including the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Flip 8. Well, Apple is expected to make its entry into the foldable smartphone market this year with an iPhone Ultra, which is likely to compete with the Galaxy Z Fold 8. While Apple has not confirmed anything about the rumoured foldable iPhone, there have been several leaks and rumours that give us a fair idea at what to expect from the device. From the launch timeline to price and specifications, here is what we know so far about the iPhone Ultra.
Apple is expected to launch the long-rumoured iPhone Ultra in September 2026. As for the pricing, the foldable iPhone is said to be priced between Rs 1,89,990 and Rs 2,00,000.
The Apple iPhone Ultra is expected to sport a 7.8-inch OLED main display and a 5.5-inch outer screen. Powering the phone could be the A20 Pro chip, coupled with a 5,400mAh or 5,800mAh battery.
For photography, the iPhone Ultra is rumoured to house a dual camera setup on the back, which may include a 48MP main camera and a 48MP ultra-wide lens. On the front, you can expect an 18MP camera for selfies and video calls.
