Whirlpool has launched its 3D Cool Pro+ AC 2026 range in India, expanding its residential air conditioner portfolio ahead of the summer season. The new split AC lineup is powered by the company’s 6th Sense Technology and is designed to deliver fast, uniform cooling in extreme heat conditions, while also addressing indoor air quality and energy efficiency. It is available in 1 Ton, 1.5 Ton, and 2 Ton capacities, and in both 3-Star and 5-Star variants. The range is also compliant with the 2026 BEE energy norms.
Whirlpool 3D Cool Pro+ range will be available across leading offline retail stores and major online platforms in India. At the time of writing this, the ACs are not available for purchase.
The starting price is Rs 35,000. The prices are expected to vary depending on tonnage and star rating.

The Whirlpool 3D Cool Pro+ AC range is built around the company’s 3D Cool Technology, which is said to combine high air throw, rapid heat exchange, and multi-directional airflow. The system claims an air throw of up to 60 feet, aimed at reducing hot spots in larger rooms.
The Turbo Chill mode is designed for rapid cooling. Whirlpool claims the AC can bring room temperature air to 24°C in 60 seconds under test conditions. Real-world performance will depend on room size, insulation, and outdoor heat levels, but the feature positions the unit competitively against other inverter ACs offering instant cooling modes.
The range integrates 6th Sense Technology, which uses built-in sensors and proprietary algorithms to automatically manage temperature, humidity, and airflow. With a single button press, the AC adjusts settings based on ambient conditions. For users, this reduces the need for constant manual tuning, particularly during fluctuating day-to-night temperature shifts.
Airflow control is handled through the 3D Air System, offering three modes:
On the air quality front, the AC includes a Silver Ion Filter. Silver ions are known for anti-microbial properties, and the filter is designed to reduce bacteria and allergens during prolonged usage. While not a replacement for a standalone air purifier, it adds a hygiene layer for households concerned about indoor air quality during extended AC usage.
For durability, you’ll get a 100% copper condenser with grooved copper tubes to enhance heat exchange efficiency. The indoor unit features Golden Fin coating to resist corrosion, which would be particularly relevant in coastal and high-humidity regions. The outdoor unit also supports an ODU Self-Clean function, aimed at reducing dust accumulation on condenser coils, an area that is typically difficult to access for maintenance.
Among other things, the ACs also feature 6-in-1 Xpand Technology, allowing users to adjust cooling capacity depending on occupancy and load. The system can scale up to 110% capacity when required or operate at a lower capacity to conserve electricity. And the entire range is backed by a 5-year comprehensive warranty.
