Google kicked off its I/O 2026 event last night, where it announced a slew of Gemini upgrades and several AI-focused features. Alongside improvements to Gemini and new AI-powered tools, the company also introduced AI subscription updates at I/O 2026. One of the biggest announcements was the new Google AI Ultra plan, designed for developers, creators, technical professionals, and knowledge workers. The company says the subscription is ‘engineered to help accelerate your development cycles and bring the frontier of intelligence into your workflow.’
Here is everything you need to know about the new Google AI Ultra plan.
The new Google Ultra plan includes 20TB of cloud storage and offers five times higher usage limits in the Gemini app and Google Antigravity compared to the AI Pro plan. Subscribers will also get access to Gemini 3.5 Flash. Google is also giving priority access to Antigravity, the company’s agent-first development platform that allows anyone to be a builder.
The subscription also bundles a YouTube Premium individual plan, allowing users to watch videos ad-free and listen to YouTube Music in the background.

Furthermore, the plan includes Gemini Omni, a multimodal AI video model that can generate editable videos using text, images, audio and videos. With the subscription, users will also get access to Gemini Spark (US only). Spark is a 24/7 AI agent that can continuously work in the background to help users manage everyday workflows.
Google says Health Premium and Home Premium services will also be included with AI Pro and Ultra plans at no additional cost. Other key additions include AI Inbox in Gmail and Daily Brief in the Gemini app.
The newly announced Google AI Ultra plan costs $100 per month. Alongside this, Google has also reduced the monthly price of its top-tier AI Ultra plan from $250 to $200 per month. ‘So whether you’re scaling up to the $200 tier or optimising your workflow with the $100 plan, Google AI Ultra gives you access to some of our most advanced features,’ Google said.
