Anthropic has introduced a new feature called artifacts for Claude Code that can turn your AI work into interactive web pages. The feature is designed to make it easier for teams to share progress, review findings and stay updated without relying on constant status meetings or lengthy explanations. As Anthropic explains, Claude Code can “capture work progress as an artifact, which turn Claude Code’s work into live, shareable visual pages— including PR walkthroughs, system explainers, dashboards, and release checklists—that update themselves as your session works.”

Claude Code already has access to the conversation, connected tools, and the codebase being worked on. With the new feature, it can use all that information to build a web page that presents the work in a more organised and visual format.

Users can simply ask Claude Code to create an artifact or ask for something visual. The AI then generates a page that can be opened in a browser or desktop app.

One of the main advantages is that these pages update automatically. As Claude Code continues working, the artifact refreshes with new findings or updates. Team members viewing the page can see changes in real time through the same link.

Anthropic highlighted debugging as one of the most common use cases. For example, an engineer investigating a system issue can ask Claude Code to create an incident page showing a timeline of events, possible causes, error trends and important code changes. As the investigation continues, the page can automatically update with new information.

The company says every artifact is private by default. Pages can only be shared with teammates and your organisation. They cannot be made public.

The new Artifacts feature is currently available in beta for Claude Team and Enterprise customers. It works through the Claude Code CLI and desktop app, while generated pages can be viewed in any web browser.
