WWDC 2026: After the iPhone 17e, Apple is now all set to bring the next-generation software update, including iOS 27, at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC 2026) on June 8. The new leak suggests that the upcoming update will bring some big changes to features and device compatibility. The company may add new features like AI Siri, but may drop support for some iPhones. iOS 27 update: Eligible devices

According to recent reports, Apple may discontinue support for several older iPhone models running iOS 27. The list of supported devices reportedly excludes the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, and iPhone SE (2nd generation). If this is correct, the new software version may require an iPhone 12 or newer to run. This means that eligible devices are—

iOS 27 features

iOS 27 may introduce some new features to iPhones, with a primary focus on AI capabilities. According to the report, Siri may receive major changes, as well as refinements to the Liquid Glass design and new home screen enhancements. It includes context-aware Siri with customisation options.

But the report suggests that not all supported devices may have access to the AI features. Some of the advanced AI-powered features that are grouped under Apple Intelligence may be limited to new hardware, possibly starting with the iPhone 15 Pro lineup.
