King of Fighters XIII to be launched for PC via Steam on September 13

The King of Fighters 13 is all set for a launch on September 13th, priced at $29.99, bringing along a DLC, new netcode, and a beta you can sign up now.

The King of Fighters XIII will be launched on Steam come 13th of September. The game will be priced at $29.99, but if you buy before launch day, you get a 17% flat discount and get it for $24.99.

The PC version will have the same content as its console version, including online,tutorial and story mode.It will also feature lori with Power of Flames,NESTS Style Kyo and Mr.Karate DLC characters which were originally characters of the console’s DLC version. SNK seems to have made some changes to the game’s netcode facilitating better communication speeds, and the ability to “tailor your online experience according to your PC environment”. Gamers also have an option of switching between different graphic modes and can choose a less intense graphics mode depending upon the requirement.

If you want to jump into action early, there is a beta test that SNK Playmore will be conducting prior to the release, recruiting up to 300 players.The beta kicks-off on the 20th of August till the 29th of August. The sign-up period ends on the 18th of August, so hurry up and log on to SNK’s website for more details.
