In this series of leaked updates, GTA 6’s download size recently leaked online and here are the essential details you should know.

GTA 6 download size (expectations)

According to a recent leak by X user (@PlayStationSize), the game may carry a download size of 210GB. The information was supported by news outlet Insider Gaming. If this turns out to be correct, the game could occupy about 1/4th storage on a standard PS5. This news comes after the infamous leakster CyberLeek tipped the game could have a file size of over 200GB.

This rumoured figure could explain why the company is offering pre-loads seven days ahead of its launch for users who pre-book GTA 6 for Sony and Microsoft consoles. However, readers should note the game may use additional space on a console’s hard drive due to temporary files, additional packages (add-ons and more), and patches and future updates.

GTA 6: Other recent updates (expectations)

The leak follows a recent report that claimed the Take-Two Interactive-owned company is releasing codes for the media and has reportedly set November 18 as the embargo date. This means players will be able to learn more about the gameplay and other details before playing it a day after.

Meanwhile, GTA 6 will be available on Sony PS5 and PS5 Pro and Microsoft’s Xbox Series X and S gaming consoles. Launching 13 years after the arrival of GTA V, the game will have two protagonists: Jason and Lucia. They will be engaged in missions in a crime-driven story and depend on each other for survival in Vice City.
