Netflix’s supernatural series Wednesday is one of the platform’s most successful shows. Starring Jenna Ortega in the lead role, the series follows Wednesday Addams as she navigates life at Nevermore Academy, a school filled with supernatural students, mysteries and unexpected dangers. A big reason behind the show’s popularity is Jenna Ortega’s portrayal of Wednesday. With two successful seasons already released, fans are eagerly waiting to see what lies ahead in the next chapter.
Netflix has not officially announced a release date of Wednesday season 3. However, reports suggest that the new season could arrive during the summer of 2027. Just like the previous seasons, the upcoming chapter will stream exclusively on Netflix.

Wednesday season 3 is expected to pick up after the events of the second season. One of the major storylines will revolve around the disappearance of Wednesday’s Aunt Ophelia. Fans can also expect to see more of Enid Sinclair, portrayed by Emma Myers. After fully embracing her werewolf powers, Enid may become an even more important character in the story. Meanwhile, rumours suggest that Tyler Galpin, played by Hunter Doohan, could also make a return.
Speaking about the future of the series, co-creator Alfred Gough said, “Our goal for season 3 is the same as it is for every season: to make it the best season of Wednesday we possibly can.”

Jenna Ortega will return as Wednesday Addams and once again lead the series. Other familiar faces likely to return include Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams and Luis Guzman as Gomez Addams. The third season will also introduce several new cast members. Confirmed additions include Lena Headey, Andrew McCarthy, James Lance, Winona Ryder, Chris Sarandon, Noah Taylor, Oscar Morgan and Kennedy Moyer. Eva Green will join the series as Aunt Ophelia, whose mysterious disappearance will be one of the key storylines in the upcoming season.
