Fans of Wednesday have been counting down the days for the return of the spooky teen with a love for all things dark. After a hit first season, the supernatural teen drama is officially coming back with Season 2, and it’s bringing more mystery, danger and surprises.
Netflix recently dropped a teaser and finally revealed when Season 2 will be released. Plus, we now know which characters are returning, who’s joining the cast and what to expect. Here’s everything we know so far about Wednesday Season 2.
The second season of Wednesday will be released in two parts. Part 1 will be available to watch on August 6. Part 2 will follow soon after, on September 3.

Jenna Ortega will return as Wednesday Addams, now in her second year at Nevermore Academy. But her life isn’t getting any easier. This season, she faces even bigger challenges, both from new dangers and old enemies.
The show’s creators, Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, say the story will be “darker and more complex.” Wednesday will have to deal with tricky relationships, family issues, and a brand-new supernatural mystery that needs solving.

The upcoming season will also include new faces. Steve Buscemi joins the cast as Barry Dort, while Joanna Lumley steps into the role of Grandmama. Other new members include Billie Piper and Thandiwe Newton, among others.
