Stranger Things Tales From ’85 to release next week: Check date, cast and other details

Fan of Stranger Things? You will be happy to know that the story of Hawkins is not ending yet. A new animated series called Stranger Things: Tales From ’85 is arriving next week. The show will explore more of the same world created by the Duffer Brothers, with the familiar characters returning in animated form.

The idea of this series came up when the creators were thinking about other concepts within the world of Hawkins. As Ross Duffer explained, ‘When we started talking about was there anything else we wanted to do with Stranger Things, this was one of our first ideas.’

Stranger Things: Tales From ’85 release date

The animated series Stranger Things: Tales From ’85 is set to premiere on April 23, 2026. You will be able to stream it exclusively on Netflix.

Stranger Things: Tales From ’85 plot

The story takes place during the cold winter of 1985 in Hawkins. According to the official description, ‘The original characters must fight new monsters and unravel a paranormal mystery terrorising their town in Stranger Things: Tales From ’85.’
