Bringing these elements to life in a live-action format requires a lot of visual effects, detailed sets and long post-production work. Because of this, each season of One Piece takes time to produce.

The upcoming season is expected to adapt the famous Alabasta storyline from the original manga. In this part of the story, Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates travel to the kingdom of Alabasta, where the country is facing serious political tensions. A key character in this storyline is Nefertari Vivi, the princess of Alabasta, who seeks help from Luffy and his crew to save her homeland. The main villain of the arc is Crocodile, a powerful pirate secretly creating trouble.

The third season of One Piece will also bring new characters into the story. Xolo Mariduena will portray Portgas D. Ace and Cole Escola will play theatrical assassin Bon Clay.
