The latest movie in the popular Evil Dead franchise was released in theatres in July. Titled Evil Dead Burn, the film is directed by Sebastien Vanicek and is said to be a loose follow-up to Evil Dead Rise. The movie features Souheila Yacoub, Tandi Wright and Hunter Doohan in important roles. After its theatrical release, many people are now looking forward to its digital premiere. Evil Dead Burn does not have an official OTT release date yet. The makers have also not confirmed which streaming service will get the movie. However, reports claim that the horror film could be available on Amazon Prime Video in late September 2026. This information has not been officially confirmed yet. People will have to wait for an announcement from the makers or streaming platform for the final release date.
The film follows Alice as she tries to start over after losing her abusive husband in a car accident. She moves into a peaceful home near a lake along with her in-laws. Their lives take a dark turn after they discover the Kandarian Dagger. The discovery leads to the release of a dangerous evil force. The supernatural entity soon begins to take control of the family members. They become possessed and turn into terrifying Deadites.

Sebastien Vanicek has directed Evil Dead Burn. He has also written the screenplay with Florent Bernard. Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert have produced the movie. Romel Adam, Bruce Campbell, Jose Canas, Lee Cronin and Sarah Spurway are among the executive producers. Bob Murawski is credited as an associate producer.

Reports claim that Evil Dead Burn was made on a budget of around $20 million. In India, the film reportedly collected approximately Rs 3.15 crore net on its opening day.
