Google has made some minor yet significant changes to its mobile search. The update displays quick view of links under the main site in the results. There’s also Quick View links for certain search results.

“When you’re searching for information on the go, speed matters, says Google software engineers Hiroshi Mizuno and Alex Fischer wrote in a company blog post.

Google explains the new feature with example of Rotten Tomatoes. Now users looking for a new movie on Rotten Tomatoes now can find quick link for “In Theatres” that will appears below the main site in search results.

Google has also added a blue “Quick view” badge next to certain results. “Say you’re new to poker or need a quick refresh on hands — just search for “poker hands”, and you can now click the blue badge and see a quick view of the Wikipedia page listing out the poker hands immediately,” says Google in the blog post.

Google adds the Quick view is an experimental project and is currently enabled for pages from Wikipedia when searched in English on Google.com.
