Many households in India are facing problems in booking gas cylinders as global energy supplies are under pressure. The situation has been linked to rising tensions between the United States, Iran and Israel. Reports say that Iran has restricted movement around the important shipping route called the Strait of Hormuz. This route is used by ships carrying oil and natural gas from Gulf countries such as Qatar, United Arab Emirates, and Oman. Any disruption here can affect energy supplies across the world. As a result, LPG supply has become tight in some places, making it harder for people to book cooking gas cylinders.
However, if you want to book an Indane gas cylinder, you can do so via WhatsApp. You do not need to call the distributor or visit the gas agency. A simple WhatsApp message can be used to place the booking. Here’s a simple step-by-step guide to help you out.

The WhatsApp booking service is available for customers whose mobile numbers are already linked to their LPG connection. If your number is not registered, you will first need to update it with your distributor.
Customers can also book their LPG refill in other ways. These include using the Indane mobile app, booking through the official website, making a call through the IVRS system, or visiting the local LPG distributor.
