The series is based on the true story of Manjit Panghali, 31, a young mom residing in a lovely suburban neighbourhood in British Columbia, Canada, back in 2006. She worked as a school teacher and had everything her heart desired including a beautiful home, a loving husband, an adorable daughter, a good job, and another baby on the way. On October 18, Manjit went missing after attending a prenatal yoga class, on the way home never to be seen or heard from again. Her husband, Mukhtiar Panghali, reported her missing 26 hours later. A few days later she was found dead, strangled and burnt to death. Her husband was arrested as the prime suspect, due to some surveillance footage that showed him buying a lighter and a newspaper the night Manjit went missing. The chilling tale delves into the real-life incident. The series has love stories ending in tragedies that will send a chill down your spine.
