The Whistleblower is about the PMT scam that happens in India. The series revolves around the PMT scam in Education where scammers use Proxy and other contacts for leaking papers and cheating. The series is based on PMT or Vyapam Scam that occurred in 2013. It revolves around the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board, or the Vyavsayik Pariksha Mandal (Vyapam). The series is set in Madhya Pradesh where a fictional examination board is Rashtriya Pariksha Mandal. Under the scam, several proxies wrote exams for undeserving candidates who then went on to get prestigious jobs, and became doctors. This mafia was exposed between 2013-2015 however, whoever tried to reveal the names died under mysterious circumstances.
The story revolves around Dr Sanket Bhadoria an intern doctor who studies at a government hospital. He discovers a massive medical entrance exam scam that has been going on for years. Lured by greed he becomes a part of the scam; however, he loses everything. This is a point where he changes completely, becomes determined to catch his father’s killer and becomes a whistleblower. However, he is unaware of how deep the rot runs in the system. It is an engaging web series that is worth a watch.
