Inspired by the Dutch show De Verraders, this Indian edition blends psychological strategy with social deception. The 20 celebrity contestants are secretly divided into:
Faithfuls (Innocents): Must identify and banish the Traitors.
Traitors (Mafias): Secretly eliminate Faithfuls and aim to survive undetected to win a ₹1 crore prize.
Challenges to build the prize pot.
Nightly “murders” by Traitors.
Roundtable banishments where players vote out suspected Traitors.
Traitors: Elnaaz Norouzi, Purav Jha, Raj Kundra (banished early)
Faithfuls: Uorfi Javed, Anshula Kapoor, Mukesh Chhabra, Raftaar, Ashish Vidyarthi, Nikita Luther, Maheep Kapoor, and others.
A twist revealed that Maheep Kapoor is the aunt of Anshula Kapoor, adding emotional complexity to the game.
Episode 1: Elnaaz was voted least trustworthy and chose Nikita to be eliminated immediately. Nikita later returned in Episode 3.
Raj Kundra, a Traitor, was exposed and banished in Episode 2.
Faithfuls like Sahil Salathia, Lakshmi Manchu, and Raftaar were murdered or wrongly banished.
Traitors attempted to recruit Nikita, but she declined, earning viewer admiration 2.
