Pharma follows K P Vinod (portrayed by Nivin Pauly), a middle-class man who begins his career as a pharmaceutical medical representative in his 20s. He strives to navigate the industry's competitive and ethically ambiguous environment—constantly pressured to meet drug sales targets.
Vinod becomes the star seller of KydoXin, a promising new drug. However, his ascent brings a moral crisis when he uncovers its harmful side effects on patients. Grappling with guilt and responsibility, he begins to question the pharmaceutical business he once served loyally.
As the story unfolds, he transitions from struggling newcomer to seasoned professional in his 30s—becoming a whistleblower and battling corporate corruption. Alongside him is Dr. Rajiv Rao (played by Rajit Kapur), an ethics-driven crusader who joins him in exposing malpractices within the industry.
Together, they uncover manipulated clinical trials, shadowy corporate maneuvers, and the nexus of medicine and power. Their fight challenges vested interests and risks everything to make the pharmaceutical world accountable.
