House of the Dragon

House of the Dragon is a prequel to the Game of Thrones, and is set 200 years before the series. The series focuses on an infamous event in Westeros history which is known as the Dance of the Dragons. House of the Dragon, is a prequel to Game of Thrones and shows how the reign of House Targaryen begins. King Viserys Targaryen breaks centuries of tradition by naming his daughter Rhaenyra – the heir to the Iron Throne. However, when Viserys later fathers a son, Rhaenyra doesn’t give up her status as his heir. This leads to civil war across the realm.

The series shows the civil war which took place between siblings Aegon II and Rhaenyra over the throne after the death of their father Viserys I. The Starks and Lannisters take sides in the war. Many of House Targaryen's powerful dragons perish in the war and soon afterwards go extinct until Daenerys Targaryen would hatch three eggs hundreds of years later. The series has amazing performances and graphics which will take you to the world of dragons. Filled with excitement and gore the House of the Dragon is a must-watch for Game of Thrones series fans.
