Overview

Batashey Gungun explores the fragile boundaries between love, obsession, and identity. The story unfolds through a tense and emotional love triangle that challenges the moral compass of its characters and exposes the vulnerability of human emotions.

Plot

The narrative centers on Arindam (played by Suhotra Mukhopadhyay), a college professor, his devoted homemaker wife Mithila (played by Manali Manisha Dey), and Pallabi (played by Srijla Guha), a student from a rough neighborhood scarred by a loveless past.

When Arindam is transferred to a new college, he meets Pallabi, who quickly becomes infatuated with him. Although married, Arindam is subtly drawn to her, causing an emotional conflict that begins to affect his marriage. Mithila, sensing the change, becomes desperate to understand and salvage her relationship.

As Pallabi's obsession deepens, Mithila's world begins to spiral. The series examines how love can mutate into possession, and the lengths people will go to to protect—or destroy—the things and people they cherish.
