1. The story was written by Salman khan 20 years ago and described as his ambitious project at that time he planned to cast Sanjay Dutt as the lead role and direct the film himself.
2. When Salman Khan wrote the film in the late '80s, he wanted Sanjay Dutt in his role, Amitabh Bachchan in Mithun's role, Kumar Gaurav in Sohail Khan's role.
3.Dil E Nadan song "Mako" was a cover version of "Surili Ankiyon Wali".
