Set in a small village where traditions shape everyday life, Sohla: Celebration Under the Grey Sky centers on Pashya, a young boy whose biggest dream is to make a grand impression at his upcoming Sohla ceremony. Inspired by Bollywood glamour and eager to step into the spotlight, he views the celebration as the moment that could make him feel larger than life.
However, the excitement surrounding the event is shattered when a devastating family tragedy changes everything. As financial struggles and personal loss cast a shadow over his home, Pashya's youthful dreams are replaced by responsibilities far beyond his years. The ceremony that once symbolized celebration begins to carry a much deeper meaning. Sohla is the first marathi movie of Sonali Bendre.
