Sitaare Zameen Par is a Hindi sports drama film directed by R. S. Prasanna and produced by Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao. It is a spiritual sequel to the 2007 classic Taare Zameen Par, and is inspired by the Spanish film Champions (2018). The story centers around a basketball coach, played by Aamir Khan, who is assigned to train a team of players with intellectual disabilities. Initially reluctant, he gradually forms a deep bond with the team, learning valuable life lessons along the way. The film explores themes of inclusion, empathy, and the idea that everyone has their version of "normal"—echoed in the film’s tagline: “Sabka apna apna normal”. Genelia Deshmukh stars as the female lead, and the cast includes ten debutant actors portraying the team members. The film aims to deliver an emotional and uplifting narrative, much like its predecessor, while addressing the challenges and triumphs of individuals with Down syndrome and other intellectual disabilities. The movie will be available on YouTube from 1 August 2025.
