Rabindra Kabya Rahasya is a Bengali historical thriller film directed by Sayantan Ghosal, blending mystery, poetry, and political intrigue across two timelines.
Plot:
The film unfolds a century-spanning conspiracy rooted in the literary legacy of Rabindranath Tagore. In 1923, in London, a poet named Ekalavya Sen was murdered after his unpublished works were plagiarized by rivals aiming to discredit Tagore. These forged manuscripts are used to fabricate claims that Tagore opposed Indian independence.
A hundred years later, Abhik Bose, a crime writer, and Hiya Sen, a Rabindra Sangeet researcher, uncover cryptic clues hidden in Tagore’s poetry. Their investigation leads them into a web of deceit, murder, and political manipulation, as they attempt to restore the truth behind Tagore’s legacy.
