Narivetta is a Malayalam political thriller film directed by Anuraj Manohar and written by Abin Joseph. The movie stars Tovino Thomas, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and Cheran (making his Malayalam debut) in lead roles. The film tells a compelling story of tribal resistance against systemic oppression. Tovino Thomas portrays a police officer who becomes embroiled in a conflict between law enforcement and the tribal communities in a hill station. As tensions escalate, the tribals protest against being displaced from their homes, leading to violent clashes. The narrative takes a dramatic turn when Tovino's character is held responsible for the death of a protester, raising suspicions among the authorities about Maoist involvement.
