One day, Arjun gets involved in an argument with one of the goons and is attacked which enrages Amartya. He confronts Gaitonde's guys on his own and even chops off one of the goons' hands.
Gaitonde, who operates from the jail, instructs the police to arrest Amartya. Amartya gets released on bail the next day. This is made possible by Bhau (Mahesh Manjrekar), Mumbai's unofficial king. Bhau offers Amartya the opportunity to work for him in order to solve the problem of Gaitonde.
Meanwhile, Sunil Khaitan (Samir Soni) is an industrialist who owns a mill that his forefathers built. He intends to fire all mill workers, dismantle the mill, and sell the land for an exorbitant sum. Bhau instructs Amartya to prevent the Khaitaan Mill from being dismantled so that he can gain the votes of mill workers.
An enraged Amartya then dispatches Sunil Khaitan in broad daylight. Sonali (Anjana Sukhani), his widow, rushes to the police headquarters and announces a Rs. 10 crore reward for the constable who murders Amartya. Vijay Savarkar (Emraan Hashmi) becomes intrigued by this offer and determines that he will kill Amartya no matter what.

1.Film is based on true events John Abraham plays Amar Naik,Emraan Hashmi as Vijay Salaskar,Pratiek Babbar as Ashwin Naik,Amol Gupte as Arun Gawli and Mahesh Manjrekar as Balasaheb Thackrey.
2.Amar Naik's wife and daughter asked court for stay order on the film as they claimed to have no idea on the making of the film based on Amar Naik.Gangster DK Rao also asked for the satay order John Abraham's character was also modeled on him but Mumbai high court rejected their plea.
3.The film opened well but dropped due to lockdown on second day.
4.John Abraham was honest to give a statement that filmmakers opted for OTT release of few films as their films were bad.But they are confident on their film and opted for theatrical release.
5.Bhau's role was originally offered to Anil Kapoor who opted out due to date hassles and delay.Jackie Shroff was later cast in the role but he to opted out and Mahesh Manjrekar did the role.
