1.Directorial debut of actor Prithviraj Sukumaran.

11.Actor Vivek Oberoi have a special makeup for the film. He was doing multiple projects at that time, so he can't grow a natural mustache for portraying Bobby. The film makers made a prosthetic mustache which looked similar to his father actor Suresh Oberoi. In some scenes he looked exactly like his father with similar hair styles, who usually portrays villain roles in Hindi films.
12.Actor turned director Prithviraj tried so many dubbing artist for Oberoi's role, but failed. At one point Prithviraj himself dubbed all the dialogues for Oberoi. When veteran actor Vineeth came to the project, Prithviraj gave his own ADR recordings to Vineeth as a reference for the character's sound modulation.
13.Lucifer popularized the concept of Illuminati among the Malayali diaspora. It was also the first Indian film to discuss the topic.
14.Lucifer became the highest-grossing Malayalam film ever, breaking the previous record of Mohanlal's Pulimurugan (2016).
15.The scene where Stephen is about to kill Bobby he recites biblical quote Ezekiel 25:17 is a nod to that of Samuel L Jackson's in pulp fiction.
