Kinnerasani is an upcoming movie that focuses on the fake swamis and the ammas of society who try to use superstitions to hoodwink people. The movie shows a religious 'amma' in a small village where superstition thrives on the villager’s ignorance. She rules the village with her black magic powers and also trafficked girls, drugs, etc. The movie shows that there are ghosts and other supernatural beings in the village as well.
Into this scenario come two doctors Mary and Paul who want to clear the villagers' misconceptions and superstitions. The couple has a son, Mahindra who is ironically possessed by Satan himself. There is a priest in the village who tries to help the couple and tells them that the ghost has possessed Mahindra and he tries to dispel it. The next two police officers - a man and a woman come in the village are trafficked trying to get evidence against Amma. Eventually, Amma is arrested and Mahindra is cured.
