To disgrace her father and fiancé, Mukku flirts with the local males and convinces them to come to her house and propose. Mansoor, on the other hand, is unique in that they both notice one another and then Mukku makes the first step by hiring him as her regular porter.
They fall in love. Her sister tries to hide her secret, but she is discovered, and her family comes after her, plotting to throw out all the Muslims, which, ironically, will also make room for the new luxury hotel they are developing.
Meanwhile it suddenly rains in the valley, and the floods begin. After the water recedes, they make their way to a still-standing house and wave to an Indian Army chopper that is on its way to rescue them. However, there is only room for one more person so Mansoor sacrifices himself.
Mukku screams hopelessly as she watches Mansoor perish as the earth beneath him falls into the rushing river. Three years later, Mukku is shown living with her father and running the lodge, listening to Mansoor's favorite song that she dedicated to him as she grins.
