Hamnet is a biographical period drama directed by Chloé Zhao, adapted from Maggie O’Farrell’s acclaimed novel. Set in 16th-century England, the film explores the intimate, emotional world of William Shakespeare and his wife, Agnes Hathaway, as they endure the devastating loss of their 11-year-old son, Hamnet.
