DNA Movie (2025)

DNA is a Tamil action thriller directed by Nelson Venkatesan, starring Atharvaa, Nimisha Sajayan, and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub. The story begins in 2014, when Varadarajan, a software architect, accidentally hits a bike carrying a couple and an infant. With the help of Rajendran, an ambulance driver, they rescue the victims and take them to the hospital. To protect Varadarajan from legal trouble, Rajendran falsely reports the incident as a hit-and-run. Meanwhile, a grieving father who lost his newborn is given the rescued infant, unknowingly setting off a chain of events rooted in deception and moral ambiguity.

Fast forward to 2023, the narrative shifts to Anand, the troubled elder son of Professor Sivasubramaniam, who spirals into alcoholism after a breakup and his lover’s suicide. His father arranges a marriage between Anand and Divya, a woman with borderline personality disorder. At the wedding, Anand’s friend Venkat, a lawyer, suspects something is wrong with Divya and urges the family to reconsider. The movie is streaming on JioHotstar from 18 July 2025.
