1. The film's soundtrack is composed by duo Sajid-Wajid who composed the original. The soundtrack has a unique feature where all five songs are continuations of the first film's original songs. Tere Mast Mast Do Nain is now Dagabaaz Re. Munni Badnaam is Fevicol Se. Humka Peeni Hai is Pandey Ji Seeti . Chori Kiya Re Jiya is Saanson Ne. The title track Hud Hud Dabangg is Dabangg Reloaded. All singers of the five songs have remained the same.
2. This movie was rumored to be just a money maker as the prequel earned a lot of money and this film contained a weak storyline and predictable events.
3.The first sequel for Salman Khan in his 23-year career.
4. Salman Khan is seen dancing on stage to Trinidadian singer Sundar Popo's s song " Philori Bina ChutKaiserisee Bani". The song was first presented in Bollywood in the movie Ghar Dwaar. Ghar Dwaar had a cover version of the song with different lyrics. The song was called "Baaja Baja". Another version was Rajai Bina Ratiyan from Ghar Ki Izzat (1994). 5.Directorial debut for Arbaaz Khan. He produced the first one.
6. Prakash Raj was unhappy with the length of the role and refused to dub, finally, Arbaaz had to dub his voice with a dubbing artist.
